Overview

The M10 Alternating Pressure Mattress is the most advanced system in the range. The multi-mode pump is not only offering alternating pressure redistribution, but also has a static mode with constant low pressure reduction. In alternating mode, the pressure is periodically redistributed by inflating and deflating cells in order to mimic natural sleep movement patterns and avoid long term pressurisation of tissue. In constant static mode the pressure is about 2/3rd lowered when compared to the same pressure level from alternating mode by the means of immersion and envelopment. With visual alarms to notify the caregiver of unusual situations, the system is an ideal product to reduce the risk of human error and suitable for the prevention and treatment of all stages of pressure ulcers.

Ripple mattresses are an excellent solution for preventing bedsores. The mattresses achieve this by inflating and deflating the pockets of air, that make up the mattress, in a regulating pattern. This offers pressure relief as well as improving air circulation that are significantly linked to bedsores. They offer optimum pressure distribution and simple, user-friendly pumps. Both the cells and the base of the unit are fluid resistant in order to maximize hygiene factors.
