Overview

The Dali Home Care Bed is Germany’s best-selling hospital bed for home use thanks to its innovative technology and longevity. The stylish wooden accents will look good in any setting while having all the functionality of a hospital bed. It is a robust and low-maintenance bed made of high-quality materials. The 4-section mattress base can be operated conveniently with an easy to use handset.  Thanks to the reverse-Trendelenburg feature included as standard, the bed can be adjusted to a healthy sitting position for eating or watching TV. The full-length safety side easily slips into place onto the pre- assembled brackets with the Easy Click system making set-up really easy. A removable trapeze bar is included to assist patients get in and out of the bed.

Adjustable Comfort

The bed base is made up of 4 sections. This allows for the independent adjustment of the backrest, thigh section and lower leg section of the bed ensuring the user’s comfort. Regularly adjusting the position of the user in the bed can also significantly reduce the risk of developing bed sores. The bed is controlled by an easy to use remote control. 

• Backrest – The backrest can adjust from 0 degrees (horizontal) to 70 degrees giving a wide range of positions for optimal comfort.
• Upper Leg Adjustment - this can be adjusted from 0 to 35 degrees
• Lower Leg Adjustment – this is adjustable from 0 to 17 degrees.
• Height Adjustment – Height adjustment in hospital beds is crucial for facilitating safe patient transfers, promoting caregiver ergonomics, and improving patient comfort and independence. By adjusting the bed height, caregivers can minimize strain during transfers, ensuring patient safety and reducing the risk of falls or injuries. Additionally, height adjustment enables patients to independently get in and out of bed, promoting self-reliance and enhancing their overall quality of life. • Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg Position – Inclines or declines the bed.
• Recliner Seat Position – by combining the reverse Trendelenburg Position with an adjustment to the back rest and leg supports, the bed can be adjusted into a comfortable sitting position for eating or watching TV.

Easy-Click Side Rails

The full-length safety sides on the Dali bed offer excellent protection against the risk of falling out of the bed. They are easy to install and easy to operate. With the Easy Click system, the 4 bars can be attached or removed in just seconds. At the same time, they are so securely and sturdily attached that even agitated care patients cannot unintentionally remove them. The holding brackets are already pre-assembled on the foot and head parts of all Dali beds. The safety side bars simply need to be “clicked” securely into place. If they are to be removed again, there is a small release slider in the bracket. The sliders are attached in such a way that it is impossible for the user of the bed to remove the safety sides unintentionally. The ends of the bars are protected by elegant anthracite-coloured plastic caps.

Electrical Safety

Burmeier’s 24 volt drive system provides an ideal safety standard for caring for people at home. All live 230 volt components are safely housed away from the bed. Immediately downstream of the mains plug is a housing containing the SwitchMode electronic voltage transformer. This means that residents enjoy a very high level of safety. The bed has no current-carrying components except when the handset is in use. The bed meets Germany's stringent electrical safety guidelines. The bed also incudes a battery backup as standard to ensure that it can still operate in the event of a power outage.

The cover fabrics is  pleasant to touch and very durable, water resistant and vapor permeable. The core is made of high quality castellated foam.
