Each chair has a waterfall pillow back design and a wealth of features including detachable arm and headrest covers for easy cleaning, side pockets for storing remote controls and magazines, castors for easy movement and an easy to use two-button handset. The Ecclesfield Chair has a high quality OKIN single motor drive system. The recliner features a wall-hugger mechanism which is ideal for small spaces and allows the recliner to be placed closer to the wall than a regular recliner. The chair can be split for ease of movement and has a maximum user weight limit of 160kg.

What is a Wall-Hugger Mechanism?

A wall hugger recliner or a wall saver recliner is unique because it can be placed closer to a wall. This kind of design sits on a track, so as you recline back, the chair actually moves forward. In other words, you’re reclining away from the wall. The Ecclesfield  recliner is a great space-saver, so it's perfect if you don’t have a lot of room but still want to recline.

Fail safe battery back-up system which enables the chair to be raised and lowered in the event of a power failure. It requires 2 x V9 batteries, which is not supplied with the product.

Please note: the chair is delivered in 2 parts and the backrest needs to be attached to the base. No tools are required.
